Fun with mods.
« on: February 28, 2012, 09:04:42 pm »

So I tried modding today. After spending three+ hours rewriting my dwarves into being gigantic, blood thirsty, lizardmen with [Prone_To_Rage:33], I decided to start a fort... and immediately breached a cavern layer about 10 or so Z-levels beneath the surface. Being the swarthy lizarddorf I am, I immediately set up some cages and caught myself some Trolls...

..and then got bored, and modded in the PET tag to the Trolls. And trainable. And now I have war trolls.

Now I'm just waiting for goblins, so I can throw my war trolls against their trolls. I wonder if anyone'll get confused.

Anyways- have you modded in anything that's caused accidental hilarity?

I want to mod in flamethrowers.

In the hands of a berserk dwarf. Only FUN could ensue.

And I think that might be able to stem the tide against Haunted Ash thralls as well.

^Haunted ash thralls.

Exactly why I don't settle on terrifying biomes.

I modded in a foragable bacon shrub, which when harvest via herbalism will produce a "bacon" that is actually not meat, and does not drop seeds when eaten.  Due to popular demand, I made the ability to brew them into bacon vodka.  Link is in Dwarven Relativity, at the very top, should still work with current game versions.

Granted this was an intentional hilarity.
