Armless Dwarf Uses?

So I embarked.  Dug straight down, hit magma.  Feels good man.  Giant toad comes up from the caverns and bites off both of my brewer's arms and then crushes my doctor's head in one bite.  The fact that it's a Toad who has taken out two of my most important dwarves in such short order...

What do I do with a brewer who has no arms?  Creative, please.

Well, barring him the ability to adapt his beard into a useful limb. Having him as a stationary lookout or a scout for dangerous unexplored areas would be a good way to go.

I once had a dwarf lose an arm to a giant toad in the caverns. He then became mayor, duke, clad his one remaining fist in artifact adamantine gauntlet, picked up an artifact steel hammer and became THE FULL EVISCERATOR, without a doubt the greatest dwarf I've ever had the pleasure of living in a fort.

Arms are nothing to a dwarf in the right mindset, have him become a hammerer that can really take a bite out of crime.

Clearly you must heal him. Capture a were beast then have him infected so that he'll regenerate. Then carefully have him spread the infection till you have an entire fort of were beasts.

Mouth has grasp right? That means he can still pull levers!

Put him in the magma murder-hole control room, with fortification window slits, booze, and a bed. Wall him in.
