Nobel demands silver bed in bedroom, possible?

Well, much like the subject says, can I build a silver bed for this mayor who took over after a vampire got perished?

Not without a very lucky strange mood.

You can ignore Demands, they don't cause any Justice when they fail, unlike Mandates.  He'll get slightly angry over your failure to build the impossible, so try to do other stuff to cheer him up.

I did find out that meeting a demand has long term benefits. My vampire, who was a mayor for 3 years, ordered a silver table, which I made for him. Now, almost 2 years after he got the damn thing, he no longer is Mayor (my expedition leader / Duke got voted back into absolute power).
But still, he has the 'is pleased with the state of demands' thought, and in his holdings list, it is still shown as a demand that has been met.

But indeed, a silver bed? Not going to happen without serious luck with moods.

You can make a custom reaction to give him his silver bed.  Otherwise just deal with the unhappiness from having an unmet demand.

Build a pure silver drop pod in the upper atmosphere, burrow him in it, and have the floor holding it to the staircase removed.

It was somewhere in fixed bugs list, that in 0.34 nobles no longer make mandates and demands for items made of specific materials.

Well, I'm running 0.34.3 and my mayor is demanding a silver bed.  I'm considering the bed-of-silver-spikes suggestion. :)
