Strange Community?
« on: February 26, 2012, 11:57:03 pm »

So, upon checking out my world legends, I decide to look up a vampire there so I could hunt him/her down in adventure mode. I stumble upon "Fancyscaly," a quiet town with bustling professionals constantly immigrating in.

Every single one of them are vampires.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Five pages of vampire immigrants.

File this one under "Town With A Dark Secret." Bloodsacks check in, but they don't check out.

It could be "vampire cult". Or just most of world population is infected by vampirism.

Vampires' titles apply retroactively in legends mode.  The likely explanation is that a bunch of normal people immigrated in, then got converted by a smaller set of vampires.  Vampire blood in the well maybe?

Also: kill them?  Recruit them!  Bandits versus the living dead, place your bets...

You misspelled seance.  Are possessing Draignean?  Are you actually a ghost in the shell? You have to tell us if you are, that's the rule

Sounds like the DF version of From Dusk 'Till Dawn. Double points if one of the bandits has a crossbow codpiece.

kill them all after starting as a peasant outsider.  see how few lives it takes you (keep a save of the untouched version).

Hard Mode: no throwing
Dwarf Mode: no ambush, throwing, or lashes
Megadwarf Mode: none of the above, you aren't allowed to leave the site once you get there, and you don't train before setting out on your journey
