Wizard's tower!

Do we post actions along with that decision or wait for a more detailed description?

Post actions, please. As you're choosing your location, feel free to define it as you wish.

Note that people who create and take advantage of a Tower of Marysu will receive no sympathy from me if the RNG behaves violently. (IE, a library filled with the secrets of the cosmos. If you were apprenticed to a wizard with such knowledge, you would likely have learned it by now, and not whatever strange magic you did learn.)

I'll hail from the tower of Raasgald the Many. Raasgald has... "transcended" the normal limits of form, and thus currently looks and sounds like something out of a nightmare. While his form changes from time to time, it's currently much larger than a human and contains far too many scrabbling, scythelike claws and lean, vaguely draconic-looking heads to be any kind of natural creature.

Despite this monstrous appearance, however, Raasgald does accept and train (and refrain from eating, as far as anyone can tell) apprentices in various arts, and the breadth of knowledge required for his particular obsession means he has fairly in-depth knowledge of a startling number of fields, ranging from necromancy and golemcrafting to healing and polymorphing to alchemy and metalbending, though most of his students are, for obvious reasons, interested in these fields as they relate to self-enhancement.

The tower itself is rather large and extends below ground a fair ways. Below ground especially it tends to be somewhat meandering or even mazelike, and like its master is known to change from time to time, though not frequently. It's also poorly lit in most places that don't explicitly need light, but is otherwise generally pleasant, aside from the occasional creepy scrabbling of Raasgald or some of his less human students moving about. It's well-stocked with workshops and laboratories, supply rooms, and libraries, though in all cases finding the right workshop, library, or storage room can be extremely difficult, given the tower's layout, breadth of subjects, and frequent combination of disciplines.

Walk outside, attempt to animate a loose tumble of branches.

Mcclay goes and heads to the libaray.

The schools like a normal university, but for magic, and a somewhat bigger library.
Head to Chrono class for weekly assignment.

Try and turn a tree into transmutable blocks, then "craft" them into "Plank Blocks".

(Hmm,
...As you're choosing your location, feel free to define it as you wish...
This leaves room for XCreativityX then! Longwinded description, go!)

Tiruin stood atop the parapet of the Wizard Tower Ventus Aedis. A tower constructed out of the very stone that made it's base, a tall cliff smoothened and molded by the generations of mages before him and by the natural passing of the waves. His feather-white robes were billowing in the sea-breeze as he looked upon the setting sun. Tiruin pulled back his hood, basking in the glow of the star and watching as the colors around him faded into their darker tones.

Being a freshly graduated apprentice in the School of Aeromancy, it gave him relief and joy that all those years of manipulating an element as diverse and fluid as the air were not laid to waste. Gripping his Oaken Staff (Yes, this is the enchanted item) that was his loyal companion -and only staff ever since the beginning of his training- he felt he was ready to take on the world. He passed his right hand over to a pouch that hung by his belt and felt nothing but dried leather. It seemed he needed to earn gold soon.

But this was his leave, now free to do whatever he wished. Musing to himself, and knowing that the parapet he stood on was strong enough to contain any disaster of a novice mage, he decides to train his power in weaving air into a desired form, a weapon would suffice. It was twilight, and the night-breeze was ever present. Exhilarating, the feeling was.

Good outside, animate some rocks for my bidding.

Because trying to stuff Fate/Whatever's engrish and the title of a 17th century book on statecraft into Pokemon syntax tends to make the content incomprehensible.

I've decided that using gold to buy something will count as a free action.

IronyOwl:
{6} - IronyOwl sets to work, laying clusters of branches down in the shape of a large human, tying them together with vines, and finally pouring waves of magic into it. {6, permanence} {3, intelligence} {4, loyalty} {5, power} The magic appears to be mostly self-sustaining, but the golem will need mana infusions if it does too much work in too short a time, or to heal non-superficial wounds. It's able to follow simple commands without direct supervision, but needs through instructions for complex tasks. It cannot communicate through speech, sign, or writing. It is keyed to IronyOwl, but powerful wizards may be able to subvert its control. It is as powerful as a bundle of sticks held together by vines and magic from a weak mage can be.

Mcclay:
{6} - "TO THE LIBRARY!!" The hunter menaces his way to the main library, and proceeds to make the head librarian slightly nervous. She points him nervously towards the horror section, from which he gets several ideas on scaring people senseless, particularly with the use of phantasms. Three apprentices working on a runic array for an enchantment project keep shooting him nervous glances.

Scelly9:
{6} - He exits the tower and shoots a jet of flame at a large bush, converting it quickly into ash. A bush next to it catches fire, and he burned his hands slightly.

Tersr:
{1} - He thinks carefully about his class schedule. Chronomancy 307: 0915-0925, Mondays. It is currently 1000 on Monday, and Tersr isn't powerful enough to reverse time, only slow it. That was the main point in taking the class. Kobolds aren't known for their punctuality.

kingfisher1112:
{3} - The dwarf approaches one of the trees along the road. He clicks his fingers, glares at it, slaps it, and even tries to punch it. Oddly, it remains a tree. He angerly kicks it until the top breaks off, then kicks the large stump until he has a barrel-sized piece of trunk.

empfan:
{2} - The would-be necromancer leaves the town. There is an ocean to the west. There is a desert to the north. There is a desert to the east. There is a desert to the south. There appears to be a dessert to the southeast. There are pyramids visible in the east and north.

Tiruin:
{5} - The elf manages to easily create a spear of hardened air. He throws it, and it sticks in the dirt for half a minute before it dissipates from leaving his presence. After a few more attempts with different forms, he is confident in his abilities to create a simple weapon out of air. (Spell learned: Weapon of Air)
{6} - The staff is an enchanted staff of protection. When held, it will control the holder's hand to block and absorb any incoming attacks. It is sturdy, but unlikely to last long if it blocks powerful spells.

TCM:
{6} - The pony stands in the street and stares at a pile of rocks for several seconds. Some onlookers come to gawk, {5} and the rocks fall over. They look to be very sentient, and decidedly depressed at being immobile. The pony's pretty sure that a more powerful wizard would have been able to get minions from the rocks. Perhaps animating something with form, such as a small statuette, would be easier. The rocks will likely remain sentient.
