Here we are, one last time. When the world was younger, i promised you a mod. I also promised a campaign that's interactive with a Bay12 council. Finally, i promised that i'll fail.
Wait just a minute, Sunny Jim, i couldn't have promised that! There is a chance that we might, though. But i digress..

One can't comprehend the mind of a masochist. A lot of those features remind me of EB, though then again most of those features are present in most quality mods.

I reckon you will be blitzing Sicily first, but then what? Knock Romans out early? Sail to Africa? Something ludicrous?

This is Stworca we're talking about.

As it turns out, the pen was in fact a poor choice for melee combat in comparison to the sword.
So I just started playing this game and I accidentally nuked the moon.

I'll join the council, though I suspect this will all end in screams and lamentations of the Stworcagradian women about 3 years in.

So gonna be following this.

To open up the council debate, I want to suggest that you restrain yourself from using extermination for the opening moves of the game.  You need to keep that population for the tax revenues if you are ever going to have a remote chance of balancing the budget.

Also conquer your northern Sicilian neighbors, although that one is a no brainer.

Conquer and enslave. Someone needs to make my breakfast.

Ditto.  High Population = Higher Tax Rates (per population).  Let's slave up!  Afterwards, try to peace out with Rome (so they can be a late-game menace) and slaughter Carthage.

Heck no.  March your army straight to the Rubicon!

If I join the council, what kind of health benefits am I looking at? :P

Hmm... well, I would suggest to begin blockading ports of the designated target. While this wouldn't stymie their resources, it would (possibly?) hinder their fleet production.
If that idea is completely driven into the ground due to the Computer Being a Cheating Bastard, then I might suggest going for Crete or Sardinia on the pretence that with a strong navy, you should be able to distract the enemy by forcing them to manouver large armies across the sea on highly vulnerable fleets. Plus every army on board a ship is one less on land.

The die is cast.

I need a council seat. To wit; I move that we sail for Carthage!

How come Dick Mountainjoy has a host of companion cavalry at his back?  When I played this mod my leader had hoplites.

Hiero has cavalry, every other general has hoplites until Marian Reforms hit.

Not sure if it's historical, but seeing that i've tried 3 versions of the mod, it's most certainly intended.
