I am new here, this game was reccomended by my online friend. It's really hard at first but it's fun. Thank you for the awesome games. It reminded me of "Settler" series.

Basically be careful around them, they're the boss metal of the game, but there's a lot of magma around it which can sometimes harbour fire imps and magma crabs, so don't mine all of it! You can always dig deeper and leave the walls intact to avoid magma problems ;)

thx everyone for the kind reply. DF wiki helps me alot. I would ask questions in this forum if i need help. The UI in this games is really terrible to be honest, most of the time i have to refer to wiki lol.

Yeah, playing with the wiki open is pretty much mandatory early on. Even once you're used to the game, there's usually odd questions about the properties of bismuth bronze or how exactly tin glaze works that the wiki is really handy for.
