Welp, sorry for that.
I asked it because I thought it might help
I believe you, but next time please think about the consequences of your actions.

As I said, I felt that there was POTENTIAL for WIFOM.  Clearly something that has potential for WIFOM isn't considered scummy.  My bad.
Everything has potential for WIFOM.
Unfortunately, I'm naturally passive/softballish.  As I told Jim, I don't like commiting unless I am certain of victory.  Obviosly, this is why I'm in a begginers mafia game.
Firstly, that explanation doesn't change anything. Softballing just doesn't work. Secondly, whatever your aligment is, you can never be sure of victory. (well, at least not in a BM)
I'm not sure what my exact thought process was for why that question was a good question, but it involved people being suspicious of the recipiant of the question.
Wait what? You asked a question... so that people would suspect the guy you asked it?

So, I've been tossing stuff back and forth through my head for a while, and you know what?  Dariush seems to be quite viciously jumping on everyone.  Although this seems to be what he normally does, considering most of us our newbies, I find this quite strange.  Looking for an easy lynch?
So, actually you don't understand how the game works. Yes, I am jumping on everyone, trying to clarify your (plural) mistakes, because I know that's the only way to make it stick. And yes, I am usually doing it even outside of BMs. So, why do you find it suspicious if you admit it's usual for me? Also, which easy lynches are you talking about? I am here to make you guys realize which behavior would get you lynched in a serious game after your first post (hint: it's 100% of your (singular) behavior, obolisk) and which will actually help you find scum (hint: it's 0%). Besides, I'm not even voting for the person who truly qualifies for being an easy lynch (Magma). So yeah, if you're going to react like that to the slightest bit of pressuring, this probably isn't a game for you.

Nice OMGUS, by the way.

Yo, penngo009, why you think that somebody with a gruff manner is suspicious?

Do you have any other thoughts about the game so far?

anyone who still is just pressuring someone, I suggest deciding on a final target. We have a little less than two hours, and the way thing are going there will be no lynch.

Day is modextended due to hectic IRL.  The day will end later today, a few hours probably, around 9 or so.  Dariush should now be drunk if I remember the rules to his drinking game correctly.

It's hard to tell with all this random crap, as I see in beginners mafia. We need relevancy, and maybe some actual reasons.

I also don't like Dariush's general attitude, but that is just me(Aka he can't IC). I think him calling all of the new people noobs isn't very efficient.

McBride turned away from the chalkboard; the morning briefing had covered the businesses known to be affiliated with the Toaster's operations.  They had a few suspects in mind for his likely speakeasies, but nothing solid.  For now, the name of the game was investigation.  They had to dig some dirt, stakeouts, and begin making their cases.  Movie stars made it seem like it was all shotguns and flashing your badge at wiseguys, but real agents like McBride knew that long before the cuffs came out the G-men had long hours of waiting, watching, and letting their suspects pile up enough evidence to put themselves away for life.  Everything had to be done right; mob lawyers were paid to find any loophole or mistake to spring their clients free from Justice's grasp, and he was determined not to let it happen here in New Temperance.

Agent Patrick Connolly made his way outside, sighing as he adjusted his hat.  He had a bit of a temper; his superiors like to joke it was his Irish blood, which of course just annoyed him even more.  Well, he'd let it get the best of him again, in the briefing room.  Sure, he had some unorthodox ideas, but they were trying to catch one of the biggest gangsters in the state.  Surely going "by the book" was too predictable to catch him that way.  His superiors on the task force disagreed, as did McBride.  Well, if it was the old fashioned way he'd go to it with gusto.  Just as he was looking down at his watch two men approached him.

"Agent Connolly?"  He nodded, and his stomach tied into a knot as the badges came out from their coats.  "Agents White and Benson, Internal Affairs.  We'd like to escort you back to Washington for some questioning."  Connolly sighed, and nodded.  He'd heard rumors that somehow they'd managed to bribe agents on this task force, and everyone knew Hoover took rumors of corruption seriously.  He was clean, but it could take weeks to prove it beyond a shadow of a doubt.  In any case, he was not part of this investigation anymore.

McBride sighed as he sat behind his desk, his coffee steaming in front of him.  He'd had a long night, and was looking forward to some peace here at the start of a new day.  He unfolded the paper and reached for his mug when there was a knock at his door.  With an annoyed glance at the door, he set down the paper.  "This better be important,"

"There's been a shooting, sir.  Agent Hansen was killed."
