TURN TWO

Turn status
Arena: Spooky Dungeon (Legend of Zelda)

Andy: Search the room.

"Hi, guys! What's a 'maim'?"

Andy ignores the warning and the crowds and goes ahead and searches the room. He finds a plate of pasta near one of the doors!

Teran: Go DENNIS.

Beyond all expectations, Teran successfully goes DENNIS. A light shines forth from his right hand and a Pokeball appears in it! Hoorah!

Bass: Loot to the north.
Bowser: Go north and smash as many things as you can.

Bowser becomes stricken by boredom! He doesn't care for these combatants. He heads off through the northern door. Bass follows alongside him.

They finds themselves on a blue stone walkway suspended over lava several feet below. The walkway continues all the way to the northern wall of this room, ending in another open doorway. In the middle of the walkway, a statue of a warrior blocks their path.

Bass attempts to loot the statue but finds nothing except some gravel. He pockets the gravel anyway.

Bowser instead tries to destroy the statue! The statue is covered with some minor scratches from his claws, but otherwise takes no damage.

The terrible voice speaks from somewhere: "Boooooring! How about I switch things up a bit, hmm?"

The statue's eyes glow red. It begins moving. It bends its stone arm back and takes a wild slash at Bowser with its stone blade! Bowser's right eye is sliced clean off! He roars.

Jim Raynor: Look around for the superweapon.

Jim Raynor looks around for the superweapon... in the entrance room. Sadly, he finds nothing but some dust. Looks like he'll have to go deeper into the dungeon.

Everyone hears the broadcasted voice: "What, think you can pansy out and work together? You fools! I didn't want to have to do this!"

A red timer with the number 15 appears above everyone's head. It flickers and blinks.

"You have fifteen minutes to come out on top. If there's more than one man standing at the end of the timer... then I can't vouch for everyone's safety!"

I'm wondering how you cleanly sever an eye- he's not bug-eyed or anything.

He does have partially external eyes.

Also my roll table said "sever body part" and I GM like a jerk.

Bass: This statue is no threat. Just dash across the bridge and continue looking for useful stuff.

Fine. I was waiting for someone to do something but then I forgot >.>

Bombs huh? He was in a very good suit of military marine armor. Silly bombs couldn't do anything to him. Raynor looked in other areas.

TURN THREE

Turn status

Andy: Head out of the starting room and attack the statue!

Andy hears the sound of commotion to the north and runs through the open doorway. He hops over Bowser and Bass, causing the blue bridge to shake a little with each leap. The stone statue turns its head towards him, eyes alight. He doesn't fear a measly statue, though. He's fought whole armies! He smacks the statue with his wrench, but it just bounces off. Hmm... that didn't go as planned at all.

Teran: Punch the eastern door.

Teran heads over to the eastern door and imagines it to be Calina. He punches it once! He hits it twice! The door flies backwards and lets out a dramatic "NOOOOOOOOO".

Teran takes the opportunity to head through the doorway. He finds himself in a room with three angry-looking, floating white bedsheets. They turn towards, make wretched wailing sounds and begin to glow!

Bass: Dash across

Bash attempts to dash across the bridge. However, the bridge is very thin, and Bowser is in front of him! He dashes straight into Bowser's spiny shell! He is impaled on Bowser's spikes in multiple places. He is stuck to the shell!

Bowser: Go north and smash as many things as you can.

Bowser doesn't even notice the robot on his back, so he breathes fire on the statue. The flames light it up, even though it does not appear to be immediately damaged.

Statue: Slice that human in two.

The statue moves forward across the bridge and slashes with its now-flaming sword at Andy, but he skillfully hops back towards Bowser and dodges the strike.

The voice laughs from above: "Heeeyahahah! Much better! If you won't fight each other, I'll fight you!"

Jim Raynor: Look in other areas.

Jim Raynor briefly thinks about how bombs can't do anything to him before he remembers how no one said anything about bombs.

He then proceed to search in the newly-opened eastern room. He notices some sort of map on the other side of the room, but his path is blocked by the wailing white ghosts. He and Teran stand them down!

Ghosts: Attack the weakest looking one.

The ghosts move into formation around Teran and swoop at him one by one. The first one attacks by flying at him, but goes right through him, being a ghost and all.

The second one breathes flaming ectoplasm at Teran! Yes, breathing flaming ectoplasm is absolutely a thing ghosts can do. What, you don't like it? Too bad. Teran takes fifteen damage and suffers some burns.

The third ghost copies the second's success and also breathes flaming ectoplasm at the clancer hero. He suffers no additional burns but takes an additional fifteen damage.
