Any advice on finding iron? Having no weapon/armor metal is getting a bit tiresome.

And the last Vampire has fallen to the Forgotten Beast. They did some good damage for being naked and unarmed.

Make a stonecrafting industry, and buy every single bar of metal from the caravans. Train marksman, and equip them with leather, if nothing else.

If you have an abundance of food, it can be processed into high-value lavish meals to trade as well.

Any other minerals? Coal? Silver?

Already doing those. Doubled Legendary Stonecrafters makes it easy to buy everything, and I got leather-geared marksmen with tons of bone and wood bolts as a "Well, we'll take what we can get" measure.

No coal, magma sea is accessed, no silver, but FUCKTONS of Galena which means half a fuckton of silver with some luck.

Current plans are to get silver hammers and maces while constructing lead walls around my entrance because I'll have nothing better to do.

Silvers hammers are a good idea. If not armour, you'll do with reserves.

It's four piles of Quarry Bushes minced and crammed into a box, and it is more valuable than most of my artifacts (Spear: 6,720☼; Weapon Rack: 28,800☼; Iron mail: 39,600☼; Wood Chest: 4,800☼; Wood Crown: 7,200☼; Llama Wool Sandal: 12,180☼.

Yeaaaah.
