So a farmer in a fey mood takes a single piece of bone into a craftsdwarf workshop. And afterwards I'm actively happy about it! What could possibly have happened?

I'd accidentally embarked without axes and desperately needed wood and he made a bone battle axe!

So far i got a magnetite quern, a limonite shield, horse bone shield, a stork bone shield, a goat leather helmet, a capybara bone buckler (For some reason my dwarves are partial to bone shields) and... I am ashamed to admit this, a chestnut blowgun. The last one isn't really useful as I has no ammo for it.

I got a steel hatch. An ironically useless useful artifact, because as cool as an artifact steel hatch sounds, a puppy bone hatch would be just as indestructible.
But it sure makes my mayor happy.

It's partially a self defense measure. But my expedition leader/ woodcutter didn't get the memo. He's dead now.

In one of my recent forts (not technically abandoned but I'm not working with it for the moment on account of discovering there's no goblins in that world) I had a few strange ones, off the top of my head:

2 millstones (forget the material)
An alpaca bone shield
an oaken blowgun
a number of craft items made from valuable materials

I'll edit this after checking the specifics for other strange ones.

Edit: A gabbro crown, a green glass grate, a diorite quern, a pink jade grate, a dolomite grate (my dwarves have a thing for grates it seems). Nothing actually made of steel like I indicated before but it's a common decoration material on my artifacts.

I got a gem window the other day. It's my favorite artifact since the new version came out (all nine days of it!). Unfortunately, that fort got taken down by...stuff.

In my last fort I got a Bucket made of Iron and bands of Obsidian and a neat chain I think made with bone and yellow Zircon

Well, sounds like I could've make a really nice well.

Unfortunately (or fortunately), a wild update appeared.
