Yep. I can't get into the sewers, only by swimming inside the sewer's channels, which makes me drown.

Any ideas? I have a mission to kill an olm woman inside the sewers, but I can't kill it and survive the trip back.

Those bastards love to hide underwater where humans can't swim to without drowning. If you can't breathe water, you might as well give up.

I had high adventures swimming inside these underwater tunnels just in time to kill a bastard snakemen and then going back for air.

Sometimes there are more than one sewer entrance in a town, and it may connect. That's your best bet aside from being undead.

This way you'll likely find something no matter what, so you get to die fighting either way.

But yes even with great swimming you can't get through a sewer pipe without suffocating as it's wall-to-wall water (unless you can get between airholes in time).

the "holes of holiness" under one of my towns is mostly dry, with at least two areas of water.

only solutions are being something that doesn't need to breath. till then you could just set the quest off for later
