There's no way to turn anything back from a transformation other then putting an end to the first transformation.  Aka, if you transform your self and some one tries to transform you nothing will happen.

If you make the tank transformation last a certain amount of time then this should work.
One says you can't the other says you can

It's impossible to make a transformation when one is active, but someone says that you can transform again if thr target is the transformed creature. Somebody made a gender change drink and as they where drinking (it had two syndroms one targeted male and changed to female, and the other targeted females and changed them to male) as they where drinking they kept swaping from male to female until the "drinking" process was finished.

That happens probably because the interactions are part of the same material but different syndromes, and each is competing with each other.  I've tested and haven't been able to use a body transform a second time on something.

^ what he said. Tried unpolymorphing via a different interaction, no effect.

If there was a way to unpolymorph at will, then people could outfit dwarves with Biometals...

Well, the general consens seems to be: Yes, the idea would work. In a clutchy kind of workaround way, as always in modding.

It is too high tech for my mod, but if any Warhammer mod wants to use it, I will be curious how it will turn out.
