I have a few questions.
1 I was told somewhere that it takes three weeks to construct a farm/pasrture. I believe one of those involves clearing the hex it will be built on. If I sent one pop to go build the pasture on the cleared south hex and used the other influence point to encourage them, could I get it finished in one week?
2 I would like a size clarification on the Havae Bakar. The description says they are the human size. Is that standing on their hind legs only (in which case they would probably be about the size of... a large dog or something I guess), or standing on all their legs at once (in which case they would be around the same size as/bigger than horses.
3 Can I tame the Bae Das'sah (smaller armadillos) to use as pets or something?
4 How are you planning on handling goods being moved across the map?
1. I'm gonna say no, I'm trying to ween you guys off using influence for reasons other then telling people to do something, since it'll be more limiting in the next version.
2. Man sized means they're medium size, you can only ride on large or huge creatures (seeing as humans are medium... maybe I'll add a race rolls... mmmmm more charts.) You can only take advantage of winged creatures if they are huge.
3. Build a kennel (this version.. man I should just end all my answers with ITVAL (in this version at least)) it'd be the same as domesticating wolves to dogs.
4. Caravans, one pop give them food, they travel distance based on the land speed of themselves (limit 1 good per person) they're mounts (good god now I need to add pack ability to size, and maybe traits, DAMN YOU OBOLISK), or the animals pulling their wagons (mucho good carrying ability) They'll need food but if there on a map with edibles they'll be fine, crossing badlands or desert may be a problem.
And now I want to make race rolls, thanks Obolisk.
