@Tar: When we're writing up Turvager in the wiki, do you prefer the description "Hellish Desolation" or "Desolate Hell"? :3

I like the second one too. :D

Okay, can I, uh...

...once I had smelted it down, could I build something out of ore? Would I need a special building to smelt said ore?

You'd need a Bloomery which requires 2 stone resource, in order to get stone you need to build a quarry (1 stone or 1 lumber) on a hex that has a stone resource.  It'll take a week to get the quarry up, and 2 weeks to gather and cut the stone, then 2 weeks to build the bloomery.... then you'd need a mine to mine the ore, then you'd need to spend time studying it's properties, then you can build stuff with it.

I also agree that the turns should consist of greater time.  I'm assuming you aren't going to go to a new turn untill everyone has had a chance to declare their actions.  Considering most everyone probably has other stuff to do, we will probably only be able to have a few turns per day, which means it could take anywhere from a few weeks to a month and a half to actually get a population increase.

We'll do the first month weekly, then we'll jump to stating your actions up to a month in advance, then I'll play them out week by week so if something happens you can do something (like being attacked by another player or something)

Either that, or for actions NOT to be limited by population to such a major degree.

They're not, it's not my fault you haven't tried using your influence to do anything else.

So I should probably stick with masonry until I get me some minions. Oh well.

Allia Glitterscale shall harvest the large, +3 wood trees for the aforementioned wood.

And also attempt to find a husband. Or at least a paramour.

And also convince the people to get it on.

Wait, what's this? What else can influence do?

What?  I thought that the limit to our actions was either influence or population, whichever is lower.
We'll do the first month weekly, then we'll jump to stating your actions up to a month in advance, then I'll play them out week by week so if something happens you can do something (like being attacked by another player or something)
That sounds better.  Also, we should try and find a more fluid form of population growth for later in the game.  It doesn't matter much right now, since the pop is 2, so we have some time to think about it.

Also, is using myself as a point of population something I can do in addition to or instead of using my influence?
