You missed this question: will a player with 3 CHA (4 influence) get to act twice as much as a player with 1 CHA (2 influence) in the first rounds or will there already be other influence modifiers into play?

They were never 6 legged, in fact they only walk on two legs.


There is no magic besides alchemy, as of now at least.

I'm still on the ropes on whether each turn should be a week or a month.  and whether influence should be monthly while turns are weekly, or weekly, etc.  4 influence would allow you to control 4 population, so you'd be prepared for that, and influence has other powers (such as finding a spouse{that isn't player controlled})  Plus if things get rough and happiness is down, you'd still have plenty of turns.

Sure.  Happiness is the same as influence.  Happiness can be gained by having nice stuff (gems, precious metals, HQ wood, furs, etc) and also from foreign exotic things (spice being main since your spice doesn't make your people any happier)

Also influence can be used to encourage people to have children.
