This is a roguelike suggestion game based around some basic boguelike mechanics but taking inspiration from many games. Don't assume things here will work exactly like any RL games you know and love. Anything is possible here, so long as you don't die YASD. And you will die. Often. Probably. As you can see, the game will mostly take place in a window like that. Each update may take some time so don't rush me.

Also... I preserve bones files and there is no save scumming.

You can assert your autonomy now... or never. Burn the letter. Free yourself of their diabolical influences. Whatever awaits beyond that door, you will handle it your way, not the way you've been directed.

This voice is also being suicidal. You cannot possibly kill something with just torches. Don't listen.

You're a bit nervous, this is your first dungeon after all. You feel a bit foolish after all of this and aren't sure how to proceed. The room is now dark, illuminated only by your torch and the faint light from the stairwell.

Remember the words from the letter. Perhaps they can help guide us through our predicament. Now that their physical manifestation is destroyed, they hold now power over us, and we can review them at our leisure and take only that we wish to from them. We will not be trapped by their spell.

Think really hard about ways a torch could be used as a weapon. But still - torch in offhand, sword in the other, approach the door and examine it closely.
