Felix, I'm going to start with your eye and remake your eyepatch. Then I'm going to work on your ankle and then check for concussion and internal injuries, as well as spinal injuries."

Jake gets the roll of socks again and gives it to Felix as well as giving him two painkillers.

"Swallow these pills, then bite down on this when I start on your ankle. It's going to hurt, but if your lucky, it should only be a sprain. Just don't move anything unless I say so, ok?"

Give two painkillers to Felix, as well as the roll of socks to bite on. Then begin treatment again, fixing up the eyepatch again first, then checking the ankle for breaks and muscle tears, as well as bloodflow. Then begin treatment, using the other part of the pole as a splint if need be. Then check for concussion and internal injuries, following up with a check for spinal injuries. Then finally have something to drink, but not much.

(Nurse is a profession, a job in a hospital. They are not as focused as doctors and are mainly assistants that have the medical skills needed to keep someone alive while someone more skilled comes to help. They also help in more complex proceedures, such as holding tools and spare organs, checking machines etc.)

Felix downs the painkillers with a frown and an audible swallow. As Jake fastens a new bandage over Felix's empty socket Vinyl digs through Jakes pack. " It looks like a big cell phone." Jake says, eyes on his work. "Okay easy part's over." Jake says.

Felix closes his eye and tries to think about something. Anything. His head fills with the scene of an open field of tall reeds and grass being pushed by a (He can feel his hands on his foot) soft breeze. Trees flanking the field on all sides are (Aagh! He is checking for breaks. Hurt!) being moved by the same breeze. Just a simple meadow, like a lake rippli- "As far as I can tell you only have a sprain." Felix opens his eye. "You are lucky." Jake's eyes meeting his.

Jake asks Felix a number of questions and all of the answers Felix gives none of which point to a concussion. Time will tell, however.

A frustrated Vinyl empties the whole pack on the unlevel dirt floor. " Oh. Was this it. Vinyl holds up a mangled and almost unrecognizeable mesh wires, circuit boards, and plastic plates...

"It must have been the fall."

Jake sighs and takes a drink from his water bottle but only enough to wet his lips and throat. Not very quenching. The water bottle says a little under 18 Oz remain.

Watching Jake take a drink reminds the other two how hungry and thirsty they are. The last time they had a meal was a number of hours ago. Possibly a day.

Vinyl decides to line out all of the groups equipment. This will take a while considering no one knows what exactly is in any pack other than their own. Viny looks over to the mangled corpse crushed by rocks and clay, considering digging them out and checking their pack for a moment before returning to the task at hand.

That's okay. I'm going to go for a run and then pass out in a bit but I'll remain on for another ten minutes.

Jake takes a deep breath and get to treating Felix's ankle as best he can, bringing over his water bottle as well and handing it to him.

"Have a drink, but only sparingly. Vinyl, while you were in that tunnel, did you hear any water? We could definately use a source of it. In the meantime, I'll have a look for Andy and then Felix can help treat my nose afterwards."

Jake takes the damp cloth off Vinyl's head, saying that he won't need that anymore, and wets it slightly again and wraps it firmly around Felix's ankle, making sure that the pressure is snug but not tight. He then elevates his foot with a rock and puts Felix in a reclined position. Jake then takes the flashlight and has a look around the room for signs of Andy.

Handing over the water bottle Jake trades it for Vinyls headcloth and waits for Vinyl to finish the drink before he rewets the cloth. A little above 14 Oz left. As Vinyl finishes he lays his head on his pack. The space is cramped but he has plenty of room to lay down. After answering Jake Vinyl wretches. It had been a long time since he had had water and his mouth was completely filled with dust and partially coagulated blood. It's one thing to taste it, another to drink it down. Vinyl manages to keep it down. "Take it easy." Jake says "I'm fine." replies Vinyl. "What did you mean by probably water?" "Well, I heard what sounded like moving liquid but it could be salt water or, Fuck, I don't know." "Either way there is a chance in our favor. We will check it out when we get situated."

Jake speaks as he tends to Felix. Jake smartly elevates the foot, common practice in treating for leg complications and shock.  Felix pipes up in a dry voice "I think we should dig out that other person. They don't look like they are so buried they will be difficult to pull out. Plus a whole 'nother pack. Maybe someone else brought a SAT phone. At least more water.

Jake now finished with Felix circles the room looking over and relighting other areas thoroughly. Nothing. The hand reaching out of the buried pile doesn't match Andy's skin color. Blood speckled bright green painted nails are also a hint to who it is. Felisha. Andy's Fuck of the moment. He brought her along more out of obligation than desire to, as far as anyone can gather. Most of the group seemed to hate her, after all being a money sponge with a liberal arts degree doesn't make you an artist, no matter how much you claim it. Plus she didn't laugh at any joke unless it was buried under ten layers of irony. Buried... Poor choice of words. She didn't deserve this.

No sign of another person in the room at all.

Water will work differently. since it is on your exterior and in water bottles with measurement you can look at it and see how much you have immediately.
This goes for anything carried in waterbottles. any water not in a water bottle will take time to measure out and look at.
