If you have the wizard spell selected, but haven't picked a target, and your 15 seconds runs out, the other player's turn begins, but you can still cast the spell.

So if you took a little while to decide if you wanted to use it, you could certainly end up using the bug accidentally. Especially if it was lagging.

You're welcome to use your spell at the end of your turn, it's certainly within the rules, and very useful. But I'd advise not making a habit of regularly casting it with 2 seconds left on the timer... or after the timer hits 0.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. But if anyone ever sees their opponent fling a lightning bolt at their ball carrier 2 minutes into their turn, then I'd like to know.

Yah, it sounds like minecraft with content, you have obviously missed the point, people dont like content, they like different coloured blocks.
Seems to work fine with my copy. As soon as I loaded the human caravan came by and the world burst into fire.

Brunch's Big Bads - 1 vs 4 - Bay12 Breakers

The dorfs defeat the puny orcs in a bloody pancaking.
No orcs was permanently hurt during the filming of this dorf on orc snuff porn.

The troll did manage to chuck a goblin near the end zone, and score, that was pretty much the highlight of the game.

A metric fuckton of SPP for me :)

Just a bit of a heads up, but I'm in New York/Washington DC for this next week or so with my school band performing, so I probably won't be able to do my game until next Sunday or so. I might be able to squeeze the game in on one of the earlier evenings, but we'll have to see.

3-1 to the Stormers.

Bloody match. Made some godawful plays at the beginning and lost muscle early on, but speed won out after some lucky dodges, and the fragile Tyrr scored a hattrick by virtue of being the only fuck able to hold the ball and run at the same time. Dwarves were hitting me hard, though, although I was surprised how high their TV was. The six rerolls probably had something to do with that, though.

Thread's been awfully quiet for quite a while. I believe i2amroy/AlStar will be played soon, so that leaves ExKirby vs Hermes, and Burnt Pies vs ndkid. How's that going, you four?

Um, I've messaged exkirby once on the forums and twice on steam over the past week but had no reply.  Not sure what to do ...?

I'm free basically all the time now that I'm back, so I'm just waiting for AlStar to message me back with the exact time he's free on. The game will be played as soon as he is free.

I sent Burnt Pies a B12 IM whenever the week turned over, and have heard nothing.

Glistening Dementia defeats The Other Kittens 2-0.

The Kittens started with a lot of cash in inducements, which they used to buy a wizard, ale, and a pro - Blackhoof, who turned out to be the worst investment ever.

The game started with a "get the ref" event, which turned the entire match into one dirty play after another, as the ref never caught anyone, and by the end of the match, we both still had our bribes.

Blackhoof was KO'd on the first turn. Despite a steady supply of ale, he never woke up.

The Kittens have a lot of potential - two St 5 warriors and a Beast is a extremely nasty combination. However, they're still unskilled, and the lack of block really hurt the team. Once those brutes have leveled up again, the Kittens will be a force to be feared.

Good game i2amroy - I hope I didn't mangle your team too much.

Glistening Dementia 2 - 0 The Other Kittens

That game went about as I expected it to. Regardless of how high your player's stats are it doesn't really make that much of a difference when basically every player on the enemy team has guard and block while your entire range of defensive skills consists of a sole rotter and prestigor with block.

Good news was that only one player suffered a permanent injury, and it was simply a niggling +1 injury (sadly that player was Zara the Slayer :'()

One particularly annoying point was my star player minotaur, who was KO'd on the very first turn (which was AlStars) and remained in the KO box for the remainder of the game. What a waste of 310,000 gold. (I'm seriously considering never getting a star player again, every time I've had one they either been killed or KO'd at the start of the game and have accomplished absolutely nothing >:().

Edit: Dang you AlStar, posting first! Good game, though its going to be very tough to put up any sort of fight against ndkid next game when half of my team is out with injuries. :P

Well since ours is the last game and it isn't even scheduled, perhaps you should just scrub it to move on to the next week?  I'd rather play, but hey.  Shame really, I was looking forward to the bottom of the league derby.

Edit... Sorry, one more game up in the air. Will try to contact Kirby again.

Remember that Burnt Pies is easiest to get a hold on over steam... which I know you don't use Ndkid, you should still consider it.
