Monk's Marauders played a beautiful game with a balance of solid passing, swift running and rage-inducing interception coupled with some serious halfling pounding.  I tried a "schoolboy BB" strategy whereby the lings would just flock to the ball, but his men just cut them off from the front line and tore the halflings to pieces.  Next game strategy: battle royale where the treemen follow the ball too.

I keep poking Charmander, but he's a busy man. We should be able to pull it off in the next couple of days.

I finally got off my ass and wrote down the rules for the tournament, and put them in the OP. They're really not that interesting, but it's good to have them. As always, they're up for debate should you not like them.

The only thing really of note about them is the tiebreak procedure. I've reposted it (sans examples) here.

First Tie break: Wins.
Second Tie break: Points earned in matches between tied teams. A win is considered 3 points, a draw is considered one.
Third Tie break: Touchdown differential in matches between tied teams.
Fourth Tie break: Touchdown differential throughout the entire tournament.
Fifth Tie break: Touchdowns against throughout the entire tournament, fewer being better.
