All matches validated and the week advanced. Still waiting on a game (ndkid vs Fikes) in the TT.

I apologize again for my inattentiveness. If nobody cares, we can just keep plugging along... but if someone wants to do a better job, they're entirely welcome to do so.

Matchups for Week 4:
i2amroy - The Other Kittens vs Kanil - Skitterscamps
ndkid - Kobb's Khorne vs ank - Bay12 Breakers
monk12 - Monk's Meanies vs THE_SLAYA - My Mummie's Mummies

Yah, it sounds like minecraft with content, you have obviously missed the point, people dont like content, they like different coloured blocks.
Seems to work fine with my copy. As soon as I loaded the human caravan came by and the world burst into fire.

Bay12 Breakers defeated Kobb's Khorne 2 - 1

It was not a particularly bloody match, since both teams played pretty conservative

The Other Kittens vs Skitterscamps ends 0-3.

Despite seeing about a dozen fouls, and plenty of bashing, the only lasting injury sustained by either team was a MNG goblin. Apothecary saved a blitzer from death, and every single regeneration roll (including one for the troll) was successful, leading to the anticlimactic result from such a bloody game.

Monk's Meanies 1 - 1 My Mummie's Mummies

AG Potions for the Khemri made certain that they would have no problems moving the ball around, both on pickups and handoffs. On the first four turns the Meanies went toe to toe with the Khemri wall, leveraging their AG and a pair of Guards to create favorable blocks, even going so far as to push the Khemri back a bit and killing a Tomb Guardian with block. However, marking up the ball-carrier was ineffective due to the aforementioned AG potion coupled with the Dodge skill, letting the Thro-Ra make a break for it, ultimately blitzing out of a cluster of four Meanies to dodge into the endzone to go ahead 1-0 at the end of the first half.

The Meanies went all out in the second half, hoping to score quick and repeat the first half's pressure, which came rather close to letting the Meanies take the ball away. The first thrust up the right side was stymied and sealed off, but the play was flipped to the AG5 Witch Elf who ran up the opposite sideline with a small escort, and even when pinned against the sideline by a heroic Blitz-Ra she managed to dodge her way into the endzone for the tie, 1-1

In the remaining 5 turns, both teams spent a bit of time probing at one another; eventually, the Meanies got aggressive going for a crowd push on the left side, letting the Khemri get a bit of push down the right. The Meanies got the ballcarrier down, but the Khemri came back with a vengeance, stunning Dark Elves and shoving them off the pitch as they secured the ball and dodged clear of markers. The Meanies dialed up their last play out of desperation, dodging a Blitzer into the loose cage for a 1dblock and scoring a Defender Down; the ball didn't bounce off the pitch, but did get clear enough for the AG5 Witch Elf to pick it up and hurl it well into the Khemri side of the pitch. An AG3 Thro-Ra did get hold of the ball on the very last play of the game, but scatterlaunched it just short of the intended receiver, a skeleton remarkable only for being close to the passer and within handoff range of a waiting Thro-Ra.

Overall, a nailbiter of a draw that could have gone either way, though THE_SLAYA did have a few more opportunities. The good news is that the Meanies didn't suffer a single CAS; well, a Blitzer almost died, but the Apothecary made it all better. The Meanies have some money in the bank, as well, so after they replace a lineman I'll have to decide whether to pick up an extra reroll; I think the makeup of the roster is good for the foreseeable future.

Monk's synopsis was pretty good, except that it a was blitz-ra who was gonna hand it off to a 3 AGI skeleton... Alas though, nuffle decided it was not meant to be, time to start a new tomb guardian who can hopefully someday be as good as this last one.

Monk's Meanies 4 - 1 Kobb's Khorne

Not much blood this game, with the only CAS going to Morg'n'Thorg, the Meanies' choice investment for their Inducements. He did a fine job, making holes with his punches and tying up two or three Chaos players every turn. Apart from a few KOs, neither team really did much to force the reserves on the field. The Dark Elves were Dark Elves, running and dodging and throwing the ball about the pitch, while the Three Armed Bandits flashed a little razzle dazzle on the Chaos opening offense but failed to get much going in the second half. Skulls and ones plagued ndkid this match, and the few times he managed to get a Blodgey elf down he only managed stuns, when he broke armor at all.

Decent SPPs for the Meanies, who will get another level out of their AG5 Witch Elf as well as... somebody else. Hussein the Guard Lineman caught a few TDs as well, helping him on his way to becoming the team's most experienced player. All in all, a good win for the team.

Monk's Morons 0-2 Slashing Slayers

I believe the best way to describe this game is with a picture

On the plus side, nobody is dead or hurt long-term, and the Piling On Ogre managed to score CAS both times he used his ability. Unfortunately, I use the word "both" because he only used it twice, because he was only in position to use it three times; the rest of the match he was on the ground, along with most of the other Ogres and the steadily dwindling supply of snots. Some of it I could have alleviated with a bit better positioning, I think, but some of it can be attributed to the will of Nuffle. Hopefully I can manage a draw next match.
