1. Did they have money? I'm pretty sure they only got the designs and techs, and then talked to us for the materials and infrastructure.

They did destroy a diplomatic shuttle though. We once send a diplomatic mission to the asteriod belt, and those guys went back. After that I believe we send a single volunteer in a spaceship. That one got sniped by multiple asteroids.

Not a pre-agreed diplomatic mission. For all they knew they were spies. (they were, just don't tell them that).
What I'm saying is that the ambassadors we agreed to send WE pulled back, and they came to no harm.

I would ask why fire can burn two men to death without getting hot enough to burn a book, but then I read "INEXTINGUISHABLE RUNNING KAMIKAZE RADIOACTIVE FLAMING ZOMBIE" and realized that logic, reason, and physics are all occupied with crying in the corner right now.

I believe it was a honest diplomatic mission. We told them in advance, and the ship was not stealthed in any way. They shot it down without warning.

We used drones for spying, and that was highly effective, untill they started shooting those too.

Still, 2 questions remain.:

1.How the hell did we no see the Moonie diplomatic mission coming?
2. What are they doing. Time to use our giant space telescope once more.

I say the two mavens would be a great help. And for the battleship how about the "Arley Burke" (Obvious reasons).

Craft bearing a Moonie ambassador has arrived. Please send instructions.
All of them are to be escorted by 5 Combat drones, each one equipped with nanobots designed to reconfigure all atoms into more nanobots for a total of 1 hour and then all nanobots, even those created, shut down.

I want the team there in 1 month.

p.s. The trap only goes off if a sign of hostilities (death of at least 2 members of the group) is detected.

This is a good idea I also want to remove maven since they are obsessive with knowledge, and are not meant for diplomacy. Also the diplomats should have nanobots(with a kill switch) in them just encase the moonies have and special surprises with them. I think we should also put some focus on Aries since we did hardly anything to make it habitable the last two turns. Also what about some new technology like gravity manipulation if the moonies don't bother to trade technology.

also im bringing my fusion generators request back up.
I'm pretty sure we have been using fusion generators for quite some time now.

well i brought it up directly before this went on hiatus and didn't see any mention of them by maldevious afterwards so i assumed they weren't researched yet.

Clearly running multiple missions at the same time is a terrible idea.  The epic battle to see which team can cock it up worse has escalated again.

And Larry kinda gets blueballed in all this; just left with a raging bone spear and no where to put it.

I believe the distinction was that there were industrial scale fusion reactors, but they hadn't been miniaturized for use in combat spaceships yet.

.
Yup.

I believe our workaround that was to use laser and other means of energy transmission to have one carrier ship/station provide power  to multiple drones. Don't remember if we got around to doing that.

I say we should build those miniaturized fusion reactors. Also what are we going to do with the terraforming of Aries?

This is unrelated but maybe we should just put some bullets in the mavens heads. We don't use them, it was an interesting experiment, but in the end if we just have them sitting around, it will screw us over. Something bad will happen.

Wut? dude that A) goes against our mission, and B) will cause us to loose our best scientist.

What have they done recently? Plus they aren't really human...

Worked with medicine, and if we aren't going to allow transhumans were going to have to radically alter our approach.

>yea do the particle accelerator plus either build it on Hephaestus or Shiva.
>continue with Aries terraforming by using small scale explosives to break apart the ice and shoot the ice with the orbital lasers to melt it.

About the mavens what is the purpose of even killing them? They are probably are best scientist, plus the reason why there not doing anything because have we even ask them to do make any new inventions. They are probably busy making more innovations then making anything new.

Not on Shiva. We don't have the nesseceray energy infrastructure there. I suppose Hephaestus orbit is a nice place, as this is a rather large project.

Also; Veto against any genocidal actions against minorities in the population.

The Mavens(there are enough to form small communities), are the driving force between our research and medical centers. They have been around for quite some time, so I suppose the public knows. Seen as there are no real protests, and they once were humans, they are probably accepted as humans. It's no good PR to suddenly eradicate an entire minority, how small it might be.
