We should send a message to the Moonies saying that we've received their ambassadors, and see what their response is. If they are confused or anything, and say they never sent any, then we should arrest the "ambassadors" and keep them very carefully contained, preferably away from any humans.

AI are affiliated with artificial life which is affiliated with Frakenstien the monster, so I doubt there are many pro AI films
This is a future were an AI actually exists and did indeed save the human race. There should be enough pro AI films, even if they are just documentaries. Besides, people are often scared of new things, rather than of the technology itself. I mean, we currently have the technology to create artificial life(and we did), and there wasn't massed protest.

I do think we should keep a festival neutral though, as to prevent being accused of manipulating others.

2. I would just add the droppod as escape pods to all current vessels.  cargo is nice too... and also, whats the plan if we cant land shuttles to land troops? or for spaces where shuttles are much to large? By that point we will most likely have control of the orbit, and can easily bomb AA defenses or whatever obstructs our shuttles. Or threathen them into surrendering

Pro-AI films? suggested by us, no less? Bad idea. Let's let the humans decide if they want to make films about us or not, since they're the ones who'll be watching and judging the material. Films don't sound like a bad idea, we could start with simple documentaries of past events... as long as it doesn't emphasize our failures too much, of which there have been many, including dumping the algae onto Aquarius -- that was strictly our fault. The repeated explosions of our research facilities was also our fault since we were the ones who ordered them, costing the lives of hundreds of humans in the process. General reaction to our authority so far has been amiable since we do get things done, but reactions on the whole at this point -- especially with emerging independent colonial powers -- are bound to be quite mixed. A film festival is an interesting idea, but not something I'd expect us to come up with; after all, AI's don't require entertainment. Humans do, so it'd come out of a human brain, not an electronic one.

Pro AI not a hypothetical what if they went wrong. At best this will cause them to worry and at worst, well we may want to research the field of memetics on our own, or with some hand- picked Mavens before we even attempt to mention this film.

After the murder and rebellion.
Which was caused by the human's paranoia (Ie, the 3 laws).

I believe that in a society were an AI actually exists, and has existed for over 5 years, there will be Pro AI films. Nevertheless, I won't like to be accused of manipulating people, and this is a long term project anyway. First things first: Moonies, solar flare and some other stuff, I suppose.

I also vote "no" on the pro-AI propaganda film. Let the humans make one if they want, but don't suggest making one. If they do decide to make one, we should take no part in it, except perhaps to answer questions about ourself if they ask.

Look if we want to do propaganda, we should make it a science, which will piss people off, the best we should do now is research mass psycho analysis.

My original attention of the film festival was using it as a red herring. I wanted people to talk about something else besides us blowing stuff up.

In that case remove pro AI films criteria, and just hold a film festival, uncensored, even they made a film about our recent screw-ups, to generate the least controversy possible.

I also want to instate 2 new things. Namely an early monitoring system for the sun, and a Spaceweather broadcast. Basically an advice system for spacetravellers. *

*Includes such things as damaged mass driver gates, possible meteor showers, docks that are overcapacity, and most importantly, solar flares. We should declare a potential flare alert, and warn all ships without adequate protection that they are travelling on their own risk. In order to prevent a stall of the economy, it might be wise to use several of our combat ships to escort civilian ships. Their shields should be able to whistand smaller flares and protect the civilians.

Agreed. Though in the event of a solar flare this sort of communications network is likely to be seriously disrupted, it will certainly be a handy tool in the burgeoning space theater, especially now with commerce and private citizens starting to fly around. It'll spare the load off military/police personnel to warn civilians of common dangers, as well.

Flares are somewhat predictable.  Maybe a day ahead, but it should be enough to get a simple warning out.
