I've been playing DF for sometime but while hanging around in the forums I found some expressions that I didn't really get.
1. What is the 'circus'?
2. What is the 'clown'?
3. What is the 'candy'?

Candy = Adamantine.

I didn't spoiler the last one because it's silly to use a secret term for it. Nothing secret about the stuff.

Yeah, To keep people from being spoiled we use those words. Usually candy isn't to spoil things though, It's more like, you love it. But can't use too much. (Because it's too valuable.) The other two terms are of course revealed above.
