Two Completely Unrelated Modding Questions

1. You know the Slavery ethic? If I made a pet with the intelligent token, would this effect which civilizations take the pets?

2. Can you have two different drinks for one plant?

Ohhh, slavery? perfect, i'm trying to write a mod for this, is it possible to trade 'sentient' creatures in cages? I plan to create a civ that deals more with 'black market' trade-goods and this is one of my ideas. (Think The Ghiscari Empire from 'The song of ice and fire', 'Game of Thrones', etc.)

I was thinking from a roleplay perspective Prisoners of war and or criminals? Or if your a complete 'see you next tuesday' then selling your useless or child dwarfs into slavery?

As for the first, I think so long as it has the [PET] tag, any civ can have it regardless of ethics. Though you could, if you wanted to, mod in a new caste called "elf/human/dwarf/whatever slave" and give that the [PET] tag, which I think would result in something very similar. As for the second, if you wanted to, you could theoretically mod in two separate reactions which use the same reagent, but produce different products. So yes, I believe it is possible.

Okay, two new questions.

1. If I give a pet the EQUIPS token, will their owners equip them with stuff?

2. If I made, say a robot, and made it creatable via workshop (make body segments, combine and power), and made the reaction that makes the robot, could I do the reaction by making a vermin that immediately transforms into the robot?

I could of worded the second one better, but you know what I mean. Right.

1. No but if the pet tore a weapon out of someones hands (using it's GRASP bodypart) it would continue to use that weapon

2 No as there is no way to remove the [VERMIN] tag. So it would simply transform into a vermin version of what you wanted it to be. Maybe in the future, We all wish for this

Make a small breeding pet that has all the tags you want for your automation, pasture them near a workshop that makes a boiling stone with an inhaled transfomation syndrome that targets only them.

@EQUIPS

If they have that tag, are sentient, and were bought from embark, then yes, they can have stuff, assuming they also have compatible body parts.

If slaves are pet caste of your main race you can draft them into military and assign equipment.
