Dwarf with no tongue

Hey, I just started a fort in the new version, all was normal until the first migrant wave.  As i was checking through the various new dwarves, i noticed that one of them had no tongue.  This dwarf had no other wounds, and no kills,  Whats going on?  I have never had a dwarf lose a tongue before (or even injure one).

Can't say I've ever seen that either.. interesting.  Wonder how exactly he lost it?

Urist McSnitch talked too much about things he shouldn't have talked about. He got off easy. Now he's in the witness protection program, and he has been relocated to another settlement. Your settlement.

You could check the legends to see what happened, to do so go;

Data -> save -> duplicate which ever region folder you're using.

Then boot up dwarf fortress, load the duplicate and abandon it. Start Game scroll down to legends, and search for the guy by hitting 'f' and typing in his name.

I'm rather curious myself, so please post your findings!

Update:   I just had a check through legends, and apparently she had her tongue slashed off by a minotaur, who she promptly escaped from.  The minotaur in question had 225 kills, most of them dwarves.
