Just survived my first Goblin siege of the new version now that there actually attacking. Unfortunately the Captain of my Marksdwarves squad was injured and is now lieing on the battlefield unconcious.

How do I get him back in the fortress and in a bed to recover. Do I need to assign him a bed as all the barracks beds are free.

Any help much appreciated.

Any civilian Dwarf with health care should go out and fetch him, then bring him to an empty bed. Look for recover wounded in the jobs list. Hope you have a water source...
