You don't understand you see, she was taken by the enemy, they are keeping her hostage in the goblin camp forums as we type. We would mount a rescue mission, but toady hasn't implemented sending dwarfs out of the embark location yet... We didn't think we would be tricked by something as simple as a snatcher...  :'(

Indeed, we never expected the goblins to go after someone that old either, they usually stick to children.  We must Adventure out and find them, then kill them with spinning sandy clay loam(s) taking her back.

oooh. Jesus, that is basically me about 2 months ago. If she's anywhere near the situation I am, I give her a week, month tops.

That usually seems to be the case when people Quit The Internet Forever. Oh well. We'll see.

It's not really a Quit the Internet Forever from my understanding, more a Cut Myself Off From What's Giving Me The Easy Way Out Until I'm Back To How I Used To Be.

Not belated, the entire point of the thread.

For, in order that men should resist injustice, something more is necessary than that they should think injustice unpleasant. They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

The important thing to remember is that she will be back. The moment she needs tec support with her computer science homework or wants to start making a roguelike, she will be back.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

Well, shit. If she leaves, then there goes the neighborhood.

Goes without saying that I'll certainly miss you. Hopefully she will come back from her vision quest.
