Well, drank a bottle with friends on Saturday, and I can still see!   

I guess this thread has reached the end of it's usefulness, from the beginning of the batch to the end of the batch. I'll leave it open as a reference for anyone else who wants to try their hand at making pretty cheap alcohol that doesn't taste that bad. I quite liked the taste, and I wasn't alone in that regard. Anyways, thanks for all the help and advice, and I'll keep trying to not go blind.
