Since version 0.34.02 is freshly released and hopefully relatively stable now, I think it's time to get a few more succession-forts going. This would be the first one that I've ever created, so tell me if anything is missing.
Untitled document of lore, written in the year 250 after Genesis:
Our group called
"The Tender Ash of Hopping" is part of
"The Gorge of Vipers", an almost extinct dwarven civilization that once resided in the south-east of
"The Future Domain". Though dark myths rank around the nations creation (it is said that it was founded by necromancers and that several of our former kings might have been of even darker nature, but that can certainly just be chalked up to elven propaganda) it unfortunately never was an especially mighty or thriving power. In the year 114 the nations constant fight to survive against powerful beasts, mysterious deaths and inner turmoil turned into an even more hopeless struggle as an elven tribe called
"The Lauded Lizard" thirsted for dwarven blood and started a ruthless military campaign against our weakened ancestors.
Now, over a century later, all the settlements have fallen and our population has been reduced to a ragtag group of scattered fugitives, who still retain the vanity of military honors over a basically nonexistent army, without even one surviving member of royal blood. The fate of
The Gorge of Vipers would be sealed, if it were not for our brave group of seven, which managed to flee to a cursed land only known as
"The Sorrow-Dune of Zealots", too remote and dreaded a place to normally be of anyones interest. After crossing the border to the adjacent fertile lands known as
"The Clean Hills" we stopped our battered wagon to settle down far of from our natural enemies. To create a grander settlement than our crumbled civilization has ever known, even in it's prime.
Strike the earth, brave survivor's and work and fight for the glory of your new home:
WATCHEDGLEAM!
The world is genned in 0.34.02 as a mostly standard medium region, with some minor changes in advanced worldgen. I increased the amount of evil biomes, strongly increased the amount of Titans/Megabeasts (most of them died though...) and slightly increased mineral frequency.

Clean Save of the world after 250 yearsThe region is partially savage-neutral and savage-evil, which means that we might get evil weather/mist, undeads and evil monsters, but not as frequent and we could still chop some trees and hunt on the surface if we dared. And there is also a Necromancers Tower in range.
Our civilization is, as described in the lore, pretty much done for. There are no more excisting settlements other than our own and the last survivors basically run around in the wilderness and starve. I'm not sure how that will affect the caravans from the mountainhomes and potential nobles, but it might be interesting. I just hope that migrants can arrive from other dwarven civs as well.
And of course there is the war with the elves.
The rules will be classic succession-fort fare, of course. Every player plays for one year and then puts up the save for the next one. Everything goes, except for cheats. Feel free to sign up for a dwarf, a turn or both!
