A world completely infested with werebeings
« on: February 19, 2012, 11:35:05 am »

... started in Age of Myth, but quickly converged to Golden Age. Dwarves, humans, elves, all are still present and playable in adventure. Whenever I ask for a quest, I get dozens and dozens of quests to slay werebeings. They are all simple, unarmed peasants living in empty lairs on outskirts of cities. Dunno if some of the inhabitants are infected too, some look and speak rather suspiciously. I killed a few of them, checked them in Legends - some of them have slain and devoured trolls. There are absolutely no bandits, did not have a single ambush yet. I suspect all the gangs are dead... or transformed. My first character was killed by zombies after managing to kill the necromancer (note to self - disable charging while fighting packs of zombies. They fight poorly, but when you charge and wrestle down to the ground, the others will chop you to pieces).

The entire content consists of senseless murder, a pile of faceless naked women and zero regard for human life in general, all in the service of the protagonist's base impulses. It is clearly a cry for help from a neglected, self absorbed and disempowered juvenile badly in need of affectionate guidance. What a sad, sad display.

Also, all the fortresses are empty, inhabited by wildlife. Most feature statues of "weregillas"... or something like that. All the werebeings seem to be of a single strain, since all are allergic to ... bismuth bronze. Did not find a single weapon from bismuth bronze yet.
