Don't worry about clowns. Once I had a map with broken circus and I noticed that revealing eerie pit do not release clowns - you need to reveal pipe.

Sadly no, it is going down far faster then it is coming in

It has gone down about 13 zlevels since I started, that is checking it from one of the two magma pipes on the map.

God I can't wait to get home and post the RARS files.
I really REALY want to see others gen this on their own

Any comments from those that downloaded the current version?

"The wealth of Moria was not in gold or jewels... but adamantine."

INB4 renaming adamantine to mithril and making it silver.

What do you mean, Dwarf Moria? What was the original?

The orc/goblin filled one from LOTR.

In this case, it has a direct link to the clown car in place of a balrog and cave creaters in place of orcs.

Silly human. Orcs stole Moria from the Dwarves. :-P

And none of that posession is 9/10ths of law business.

Sorry to be a a stick in the mud about it, technically, Moria is the elven name for the cave system (from Sindarin mor="black" and iâ="void, abyss, pit"). Kazad-Dum was the name of the Dwarven settlement there.

"The wealth of Moria was not in gold or jewels... but adamantine."

This is the most apt title :D
Someone with dwarf hack needs to check how much there is.
Like I said, There are pillars over 40 levels long with no breach to the circus meaning it is Pure Profit Adamantine.

I could comfortablty never need to smelt a single bar of iron in the game and have every last Wepon and Armor made of candy.

Only 2 more hours till I am home and can post the files!!!

I assume you meant to say "Khazad-dûm", right? :P

When I was reorganizing my inventory to fit all by books on life and death into various bags and things, I looked at my inventory and saw that I was multigrasping a necromancer slab.  It was pretty hilarious.
I think that would be an excellent way to impart the critical lessons of life and death to the ignorant masses.

DF v0.31.03?? You're from the future? :o

Also, this is awesome. =D I kind of like underground caverns better than candy canes to the sky anyway. It's more... dwarfy.

I smell something....It has a familiar smell. An "elfy" smell. Why would that be?, Elves don't dare tread where yon dwarven science be!

Unfortunately, I couldn't get this to work. The worldgen params that you gave ended up making a completely different world for me, and the embark spot didn't exist. I also tried downloading the save and dwarf fortress doesn't even put it in the list of worlds. Using the newest version (0.34.02).

I've been looking for an interesting embark spot for a while with magma and adamantine near the surface but it's starting to look like the only spots with those features are the result of a bug and end up with a ton of cave collapses and fps death. It's a shame cause I think that would be a fun map to play on.

Means Dwarf dwelling/delve doesn't it?
