Normally, i would say they are awesome, because although you start out with wooden weapons, you get a speed boost, and the wooden weapons turn out to be really good for training, so you level really quickly. but recently i found out elves cannot become werecreatures, or necromancers, and of course there is no good way to obtain armor, except wandering around hoping for goblin to attack you.

there really need to be some cool natural/supernatural abilities for elves so they can compete with the necromancer vampire dwarves/humans

The avresge lifespan of an elf is forver, so, even though wvwn the best DF payer will only survive a year around, you could, in theory, keep killing stuff and getting better stats and wepons forever and become "invinsibe".

This has happened before in my world, i have a normal goblin with around 400 kills, as he keeps killing things so he keeps getting better so he can kill more things so he can get better.........

but necromancers and vampires also live forever, so that argument doesn't apply because any good human adventurer will become either a necormancer or a vampire or both. if an elf gets nerve damage there is absolutely no way to heal it, but my human can just wait till he beomes a were creature and then he will be completely rehealed.

Cacame came form a time where Dwarves had forts, and you can walk into a elven home and talk to them.
in these times it's all human all the time.
being a dwarf or elf or goblin is being a immigrant, or what I 1% believe is true

I'd say Humans, Dwarves, Goblins and Kobolds are the races with the most potential.

I mean, how many Elf heroes have you seen from the entire elven civilization?

that means goblins have been demoted to kobold class enemies... the only difference being that they wear armor.

Quite actually, I've seen many elves killing thousands in their lifetime.
