Tombs: A few observations and a question
« on: February 18, 2012, 10:20:56 pm »

So I was just exploring my first tomb and happened to notice some strange stuff. The first is that the mummy seems to just spawn out of the blue. I explored the whole place and didn't see it, then as I was leaving it came out of nowhere. Either it stayed out of my line of sight until then or it just appeared. The second is that the mummy happened to be of a farmer. Checking Legends mode said he was a retired farmer-turned-War Leader, but the description was just "Farmer Mummy" or some such. The description screen itself was taken up almost entirely by a list of missing body parts (like its two missing hairs, its two missing sideburns, its missing toes, and whatever else). Looking at it in Legends mode after I died said it raised my character before it killed it.

Are these things bugs or are they supposed to happen?

You wouldn't rush Goya or Faulkner or Tarantino. Think about Toady as equal to those artists. And then deal with it.

The mummy spawns on the coffin it was buried in.
