Disbanding with Sleepers
« on: February 18, 2012, 03:47:49 pm »

The earlier times I played LCS, I generally went with a "total war" strategy (getting lots of liberals, making lots of money, then splitting them into many safehouses with one to two 6 man teams murdering conservatives while the rest made money, influenced people with the newspaper, or kidnapped people), but this time I went for more subtle strategy. So, I kidnapped or seduced about 11 influential conservatives (Judges, lawyers, radio/cable people, a corporate manager and a soldier) and had them influence things in a liberal direction. I then retired.

Sure enough, things swung liberal for a while and most laws became moderate or liberal. However, after a point they started swinging in the other direction. I figured I could just return things again by coming back and kidnapping more people, but returning from disbandment resulted in only the return of my very first liberal!

First, how many sleepers do I need to reliably stay liberal for a while, and what do I have to do to bring back old liberals?

The person supporting regenerating health, when asked why you can see when shot in the eye justified it as 'you put on an eyepatch'. When asked what happens when you are then shot in the other eye, he said that you put an eyepatch on that eye. When asked how you'd be able to see, he said that your first eye would have healed by then.

Were you playing with CCS on? If so, that's probably it. You'll need to hold out until the presidential elections for laws to become more liberal, so you should start to do a big push to swing opinion about a half month beforehand.

Maybe it's parasitic. It never loses its flavor because you eventually die from having your nutrients stolen by it.

Sleepers rely on their infiltration% to have an effect and spreading liberalism causes this to drop. After a while they'll have no effect. If at least 2 of those are radio personalities and at least 2 are news anchors it should last longer.
