How many  Z-levels have to be between a pit of monsters and normal worker dwarfs to not allow the dwarfs from running in fear from the goblins?

Caravan in depot = Broker is on break/sleeping/eating/drink.
Caravan leaves =  Broker has no job.

figured I'd post in here rather than create a new thread.

I'm a fan of evil / terrifying biomes. But my question is this, I normally have a meat industry set up (birds / bears / whatever i can farm). They are normally pastured underground, but with the changes bringing in zombies is it even possible to have a meat industry in evil biomes anymore? or does everything you kill come back as a zombie?

What causes necromancers to thrive? Can you not have them in small worlds? I've generated about 5 worlds, tweaking savagery and sites and history length mostly (I don't figure they'd be beasts), and can't seem to get any to show up.

How far away does a corpse have to be from an evil biome before it stops rising? I had THOUGHT the giant tick I had put down was down for the count(since it appeared to be in the non-evil plains instead of the evil desert), but it rose again and now I'm out one milita commander -_-

No. I suppose there are similarities, but I'm fairly certain angry birds doesn't let me charge into a battalion of knights with a car made of circular saws.

Are obsidian Weapons back to functionality or will they still just come out as wooden weapons?

Embark on a giant obsidian layer .)

Obsidian short swords are back, my fort is pumping them out.

He he he.  Yeah, it almost looks done...  alas...  those who are in your teens, hold on until your twenties...  those in your twenties, your thirties...  others, cling to life as you are able...It should be pretty fun though.

How do I make zombie corpses die, permanently? Just keep killing them 'till they don't come back?

Can I make my dwarves throw the corpse into the volcano?

ok, so in adventure mode its telling me to kill a mastermind in the sewer but it directs me to a floor grate, how do i go down it?
Also, how do you get your followers to eat? they seem to be starving to death.
lastly with necromancy if you bring somthing back to life does it ebcome a follower or what? and do you need to ahve taken reader at the start to get it?

1: there are multiple grates, one should let you get down.
2: check new release, 34.02, followers don't dehydrate/starve anymore

They are not available in arena mode.

Are u actually using them to kill stuff or are they untested?

hunter of beasts?

i have one with great tracking and 200 animal/animal people and 1 notable kill, but no dwarves.

When on the same horizontal level, dwarves become scared when within about 25 tiles of a hostile creature.  I don't know if the vertical distance is the same as horizontal for the purposes of being scared.  If it is, then the pit will need to be 25 Z-levels deep.

When do children become adults/able to work etc?

Dwarven children become adults at 12 years of age.

Why do I sometimes have the magma sea at like -20, but sometimes much higher? Just had it at like 98 :0 50 levels of ground only :?

Is magma from a volcano pressurized now? Or is magma flowing more quickly now? my master speardwarf accidentally carved the fortification and was accidentally incinerated.
