EDIT: Right. If there is a NSFW webcomic that hasn't already been labeled could someone point it out?
If I'm not mistaken Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal can be occasionally NSFW.

Wow guys & gals, this seems to have developed into a pretty busy topic with lots of good stuff in it!

I just spent two days reading the Girl Genius comic from beginning to end, and am continuing to sift through this stuff.  Some of it's simply not to my taste, but some of it's spot on to my humor.

I mostly intended this to be a reference to things that I could do at work during idle moments, but it seems to have developed beyond that.

Hey, The Fool, if you want to start a thread of the same name so you can create a top-of-thread catalog of comics, PM me, and we can organize links and topic closure.  I bounce around from place to place on the internet pretty regularly.  Maintaining a top page link list is not something I feel I can do justice to, but I would most certainly keep it favorited at work and home, especially if it's sorted SFW / NSFW :)

(Don't attempt to answer that.  Down that path lies ... well I was going to say madness but you all run towards madness as if it was made from chocolate and puppies.  Just forget I said anything.)

It depends on what you mean by nsfw.

There are some comics there that have the occasional or even casual nudity, but other then OGLAF (which I am sorry to say, but I think that miiiiight be pushing the forum rules a bit to far even with the nsfw tag. It really is a porn comic, which we should almost certainly not link to.) I don't think there is anything too bad.

Generally I would say anything that actually has sex acts, reproductive organs, full frontal nudity or female upper body nudity should be labeled NSFW because anyone who sees such a page will almost certainly not be fully involved in the reading of said comic, and would only understand that they saw sex stuff on their co-worker or employee's desktop.  This is of course viewed from the perspective of someone who works in an office in the USA.  In Europe, these criteria would probably seem excessive.  In the middle east, if you don't draw your females in bukhas (spelling?) and follow islamic law in their social interactions, it would probably be NSFW.

Heh, I'd also say that gore is very NSFW in a lot of parts of the world. I wouldn't want to be seen opening up a little cartoon gore like in Cyanide & Happiness or The Oatmeal. Some politically sensitive stuff, like pedobear or making fun of dead people might also be NSFW.

Oglaf is somewhere between porn comedy/parody and sword & sorcery parody. The latter is rather appreciated in these parts. There's more than enough funny stuff in it to be worth mentioning, but yeah, definitely NSFW.

Although yes, things like cyanide or Oatmeal might be on the edge or possibly over it, linking to  Oglaf (and perhaps Menage a 3, but I have never read it so I don't know) is undeniably breaking the forum rules to the point where it is a instant ban, under the rules at least.

I don't know what would actually happen, but I am just urging you guys to not link to it.

Edit: Actually, I am urging certain ones of you not to link to it, to others I would urge to link to it. But that sounds more like a personal issue for me.

As long as the link isn't bypassing any "18+ warnings", it's not violating anything detailed in the Forum Guidelines. All the same, I don't think it's really appropriate to link to a sexual webcomic on this forum.

My recommendation is to keep the definitely NSFW comics on the list, along with their warnings, but remove their links. Everyone stays happy.

This isn't really one of the best webcomics I've read, but it's pretty good and time limited so worth a bump.

Friends With Boys. 211 page completed story. Available online till the 6th when it goes to print only. Worth a read at least.
