Decided to give Cyanide and Happiness a shot. I feel it's earned its keep.

Also gave Flaky something a shot earlier, but only made it as far as the Omega Death Spell part before writing it off completely.

I just read through the whole thing, and I recommend this wholeheartedly to everyone everywhere forever.

I'm a little surprised I haven't seen Darths & Droids mentioned yet.

I also want to make mention of Rusty and Co., which is about the adventures of a mimic, a rust monster, and a gelatinous cube.

I can't tell if I like Goblins, or if I like to hate it.  It's all tropes, even where it seems like it's trying not to be.  It's like its strength is also its weakness.  Kin's fragile victim character archetype makes me uncomfortable, too.  Hopefully she's developed for the better since the last time that I read the comic.  Now that I think about it, I don't really identify with any of the characters, which seems a little odd, given how familiar the themes are.
I think part of the draw of Goblins is just how freaking creative Thunt is. The frequent expo speak is sort of forgivable when he's describing some new, awesome magic item.

I'm surprised you got that far, the first few are lame as anything...

You know it's funny, I kind of had a feeling while I was reading the earlier ones that I had to get those out of the way to get to the good stuff.

Of course, now that I'm reading further the next 30 or so suck miserably. Blegh. Good thing they're quick, and there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Kind of a dappled light, but a light nonetheless.

EDIT: Alright, this is starting to get on my nerves. It's not even the ratio of garbage to amusement, it's wondering how he thought some of this stuff could possibly be a good idea. Doing similar, also not funny stuff before and after this does not make it a joke.

Looking at the specific comic you were up to, I have to say, you are still reading through the early trash, rather than the later trash. Look it is all trash, but at least they came to realise they are expected to make a joke somewhere...

Yeah, I'm starting to realize that most of it sucks and he just gets lucky/inspired sometimes. There doesn't seem to be a pattern.

In related news, chainsawsuit is a similar style of random strangeness, except he never forgets to actually be funny. It's also done by the same guy as Starslip, which was one reason I didn't mention it earlier.

I already read a lot of webcomics and have far more bookmarked, so I'm still not sure if I should start reading any of the suggestion in this thread...

Anyway here's my own.
Servants of the Imperium which is a Warhammer 40K webcomic.
Surprised no-one has mentioned Dinosaur Comics
SUPER MEGA COMICS is a purposely bad webcomic like sweet bro and hella jeff, but they've made a lot more comics. A little bit more of a mixed entertainment value, especially without the art being bad enough to be entertaining, but I still like it.

I'm a little surprised I haven't seen Darths & Droids mentioned yet.
I was hoping that my mezzacotta link would eventually lead people to it.

Thought I'd put up a link to Mushroom Go, a very nice comic I've been following for about a year.

Heh, I wasted the weekend reading comics thanks to this thread.

I never really got the overwhelming appeal of Cyanide & Happiness or MSPA. Was waiting to see how long before they get mentioned :P

The main draw of Homestuck is that you really have absolutely no idea what the fuck is going on. It's just... unfathomable. Also it's huge and people have way too much fun drawing fanart.

I'm going to start a compendium of posted webcomics in my first post (I think it's post #6). I'll try and keep it updated.

EDIT: Right. If there is a NSFW webcomic that hasn't already been labeled could someone point it out?
