Posted here since very few check wiki discussion.

The old domain (http://df.magmawiki.com) will redirect for at least six months, but there are no guarantees regarding after that time, so please update bookmarks and such.

Another quick note: image and file uploads are down until we find a more scalable solution (probably within a day or so).

I'm trying to access the page from Google Chrome, bt I'm getting a white page that says the following:

"Fatal error: Class 'SimpleCaptcha' not found in /var/www/dfwiki/extensions/ConfirmEdit/ReCaptcha.php on line 5"

Yeah there are a few residual issues from a MediaWiki update. Working them out and such.

I reckon dfwiki is a more straightforward domain name then magmawiki.

As a sidenote, www.dfwiki.org would be a lot easier... wait, is that already taken?!

Still some odd issues going on related to the database server we think. Locriani is going to look into it in a little bit.

As for dfwiki.org -- it appears to be registered already. Whoever registered it has it pointing at df.magmawiki.com it looks like, but us wiki server admins don't have direct control over the domain (which we need for proper fqdn's and such).

That's very interesting and sad at the same time.

Hope we can find out who has that registered.

I noticed that there’s currently no notice of the address change under Site Announcements on the main page of the Dwarf Fortress Wiki.  Is that currently pending?  To get the word out about updating bookmarks that would be a pretty good place to give people a heads up for those willing to read it.

A while back there was thread where a fellow forumite has announced that he bought a bunch of domains and was asking via a poll which one should we keep. Anyway, I'm sure if we contact that person, she'll accomodate us.
