Your wonderfull seeds will last forever, or until a G.M. related event blows them up. I'm not planning to keep track of seeds. Can't trade them either.
Your engineers thought upgrading one gate was silly so they also upgraded the other one.

assuming we are allowed to do 2 water runs:
change the water party to have an extra 5 guns (keep the heavy gun out there)
plant veggies in 2 patches, replacing the 1 we get this week, both those should be ready before the traders leave, which would result in 500 being traded, and leaving us with 70.
Other peoples opinions on doubling our exposure to potential threats by the local wildlife?


Some scientists should search the lab for schematics, or failing that, search for a water-bore -- there had to be a water source in the bunker, and reactor so there is water under our feet somewhere ...


We should prevent <gm related incidents> by not storing all our seeds in the 1 place :p <that just means that the GM will come up with a slightly more creative means to remove our seeds from us, should the need, or dice demand it>\

edit:
I forgot the entire reason for this post -- are those big piles of meat over there edible - ask the locals, and if they think so then butcher them.

They are edible when cooked. These are the same apes that attacked your scout party several turns ago.

asking because by my plan we get down to less than 1 weeks worth of food within 4 weeks ...

Even rabbits don't breed in three weeks( Do they ?). Besides giving food to rabbits to slaughter them to gain more food doesn't work. You could always however hunt soem more mutant apes.

I believe we are quite above the water table though. Its our underground secret base that reaches the water. So I doubt a well would work.. See if our guests will finish scavenging that pile of scrap for materials.
Have all the scientists search our lab. Loot anything of value or scrap, catalog everything, maybe there are some ceramics or maybe something we can use to make bio-diesel, or even chemicals.

Are there any rocky outcroppings around? I wouldn't mind a stone wall with electric wire around it? How strong is this fence, chain link, heavy cable, steel tubing?

The fence is pretty strong: Capable of whistanding a 2 meter tall monster slamming against it whitout damage yet thin enough to shoot through.
It's an interwoven patern of carbonwaver cables and smaller electrical cables, patched up here and there with metal plates.

Great description. Alright so we can't improve it much beyond towers or a second wall behind.. So I'm not sure about the building list, but I assume the towers are in each corner? Where are we currently sleeping and stuff? Can we get a rough size estimate of our compound?

Obelisk - I was thinking bio-fuel for electricity, with that we can light up the night (but we shouldn't because we need to stay hidden as long as we can), start small smelting operations and quite a bit of other useful stuff, along with energy weapons. We obviously have an energy weapon we can reverse engineer later on. I would definitely not mind a vehicle though.

Some scientists should search the lab for schematics /I believe we don't have access to the reactor or where that water is coming from sadly.. if we do though have all free hands go for it.
We should prevent <gm related incidents> by not storing all our seeds in the 1 place :p
- See if our guests will finish scavenging that pile of scrap for materials. In the scrap, do we not have left over pile of metal scrap that is to tiny of use? Do we have a pile of that somewhere? We should keep it and melt it down later.

- Builders build a tank
- Engineers fix the generator

Oh, another thing. You can't sow plants the same time as they're harvested and every plot needs 5 people to maintain, weed and stuff like that.
