Fargo's already announced that it's gonna be turn-based tactical.

We’re going back to the original and building from there. No first person shooter, we’re going top down so you get a tactical feel for the situation. And we’re not ditching the party play to turn it into some hack-and-slash bloodfest. It’s turn based, tactical, with a storyline that will be deeper and broader.

I remember when these games used to be more common. I am sort of sad that I just got into games around the time those games were being phased out.

I am starting to realise why some people hate "casual gamers"

I've been playing it at the office for months...

Too bad eventually you'll use every clip of ammo in every store, since they didn't refill and weren't infinite.

My first Kickstarter campaign. I am happy for turn-based tactical. Those are my favorite games.

At this rate, looks like its going to hit at least 2 mill, if not 3+ (like the double fine one!).

Passed $750,000 now, so unless wallets have been sucked dry and all the momentum evaporates this should be funded by the weekend.

Are you kidding?  The thing's barely even been up for 24 hours.  They'll have met the $900k goal by the time I go to sleep tonight.

They just announced Linux and Mac support at 1.5 million, so I really, really hope it does. Though yeah, it's looking like they'll hit 2 mill, easy.

I've gone the deep end, decided to throw in 75 bucks for this baby.

All the 1k contributions are sold out it seems.

Wow. I may toss in on this one. If they can add the kind of real classiness to this game that was present in the first two Fallout titles (i.e., not the lifeless crap that Bethesda did), I'll be behind this 100%. I never really played the original Wasteland much (mostly a fluke, since I've played most other major titles from that era, and I never purposely avoided it), but this seems really promising.

Also, turn-based tactical... mmmm. Yummy.

I was born a little too late to enjoy Wasteland but I loved Fallout 1 & 2 (haven't played 3 yet), particularly the battle system which remains my favourite battle system to this day. I hope the battle system will be similar, I don't know how it was in the original Wasteland but I'm not keen on top-down rpgs nor first-person rpgs (with the exception of Bethseda's stuff) so if its an isometric game with turn based and tactical playing then I will buy this game without a doubt, even if the story is poor.
