i dont think they can be zombiefied, because their bodies are statues.
nor can they be vampire, nor werewolf.

i dont think they can be zombiefied, because their bodies are statues.

Their severed hands + heads could be though, but they don't have blood...

So they can't zombie :(

I found out what's worse than zombified FBs.
Zombified rattlesnakes.

One just systematically dissected my planter, resulting in YET ANOTHER zombie.

Because there are tags stopping vampires from being werewolves and vice versa, megabeasts like FB's can't be necromancers, vampires or werewolves and there's an odd supernatural tag that makes things a bit odd. You could probably raise zombie necromancers though, and maybe zombie werewolves and vampires.

I just encountered this thread because I just read that toppling statues in a temple can lead to vampirism or werebeastism (didn't know), and was thinking about how I use statues to delay megabeasts... and was like 'what if I made each of those a temple? Would I get were or vampire FB's?' But no. Disappointment.

Which leads to the question: is there a way one could mod it to remove this limitation?

Only intelligent, organic creatures that worship gods can become werebeasts/vampires, and only organic fbs (and clowns, and whatever; just needs to be organic) can become zombies. Inorganic fbs are naturally peaceful with undead, since zombies are opposed to life, and inorganic fbs are not technically alive.

The exact mechanics of how all this stuff behaves with intdead is yet to be tested, but I imagine intdead stop being anything other than intdead, though they might be able to become necromancers. Intdeadification as a way to remove the werecurse could be an interesting and hilarious treatment, I'd imagine the conversation would be something like this.

Urist McInfected: So doc, how are you gonna cure me of this awful werecurse?

Urist McChiefMedicalDwarf: Well, first, we're gonna kill you, and then we're gonna reanimate your corpse by letting Urist McNecromancer have a stab at it, and hope he makes it an intelligent zombie rather than a mindless thrall.

I know you more experienced  guys probably already knew this, but if you didn't.......Now you do! So forgotten beasts can turn into zombies.


 Excuse me while I go and try to deal with a zombified quail with external ribs and an infestation of severed hands.



I'm loving this update :D

Also imagine the sheer horror of zombified FB remains made out of steel, hematite, and other shit like that.
