Some "chi" powers, making you nigh unbeatable in combat....

these are broken.

EDIT: Not to double post

SethCreiyd what do you have in your 'raw/objects/text/' in secret_war.txt, secret_longevity.txt, secret_fire.txt, secret_lies.txt, secret_light.txt, secret_nature.txt and secret_wisdom.txt ? any examples? ;p

Just wanted to throw in a random bit of science:

Ghostly (whatevers) can still do interactions. This means that a ghostly necromancer can still raise the dead. Be sure to slab/bury them.

hmm... What about a ghostly werebeast-dorf? Will they still try to change on the full moon, and will they simply change their ghostly form or possibly come back to life through it? Sounds ridiculous in theory, even, but meh.

!!SCIENCE!! time!  Would you end up with a weird ghost-thing who turns into a corporeal werebeast every full moon, only to go back to being dead afterwards?  Would the dwarf just become a ghost-werebeast?  Would they change at all?  I feel like this would require quite a bit of preparation.

So the weather magic is impossible?
I've tried using Material Emissions that have WEATHER_CREEPING_GAS and WEATHER_FALLING_MATERIAL and inorganics that are extracted from world.sav in the arena unsuccessfully, but I can't say that someone else might not suceed.  Maybe the arenas to hot, or maybe I just didn't do it right.

I'm not trying to speak for him, but some good examples to put in the books, are to look up the symbols in language_SYM, and use the s_words below them.  exept for war, the vanilla war name is very breif, I looked up synonyms on google though, for my symbol war, this might help
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
this isn't that, but I thought it might make for more interesting books.

Arena has doesn't have weather. You'd have to test in adventure mode

Indeed I may. Just imagine the CHAOS that could be sewn with a cloud of flesh eating "locusts" :D

Plus I would like to test it for the purposes of my attempt with secrets+learning magic, for the more powerful stuff.

I think this would be a good place to start stockpiling potions and things too, right?  I have a few of them made up, and the framework makes it easy to add more.

Fluff Potion:  Causes immediate, temporary, positive effects (speed boost, NOEXERT, NOPAIN, NOSTUN, NONAUSEA, PARALYZEIMMUNE), with some possible varying negative effects (drowsiness, dizziness, numbness, paralysis(!)) later.
Spoiler: fluff potion plant (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: to brew it (click to show/hide)

Note:  This will also require the following:
 - My fluffball creature (available earlier in the thread)
 - This plant:

- You might need to tweak valley herbs slightly so that they'll appear in shops/houses

Alternatively, you could change the reaction to require different materials.
