reading in adventure mode?

ok i JUST uploaded the newest df and i go into adventure mode to find a new skill, READING, does any one know what it does

It... Lets you read? And at any rate, I sugest moving this to either gameplay questions or Adventure mode discussion.

oh, i was just thinking of df at the moment i said this, how do i move the tread?
