Vampire Law-Giver of the Humans

Do humans have Law-Givers? Because my adventurer just killed one. He also happend to be a vampire.

Indeed they do. Both law givers I've encountered have been vampires. Seems they're drawn to non hereditary, powerful positions.

It seems very dwarven to use the hell itself as a garbage disposal. I can just see this isolated pile of goblin clothing, rotten food, and chunks of animals sitting there in a featureless plain, slowly cooking in the heat as demons pick at it.

I thought that only goblins had law-givers. My mistake.

humans and goblins both have random positions.  it is what allows demons to rule them, i think.  the positions of both elves and dwarves are fixed, and they do not have demon overlords, as a general rule.  with the new religion mechanic, this may change now.

yeah, but have you seen slaves running around in the human fortresses? i think that means a clown was once the ruler.

ive seen an elf slave in a starting hamlet.

i think slaves might just be the spoils of war.  according to the raws, humans find slavery acceptable.
