Age of Death Help

Just for kicks, I decided to try the old Age of Emptiness/Death experiments in the new version. Problem is, when I follow the method described in this post for genning an AoD world, I only ever get the stand "Age of Power(s)" or "The Golden Age." Any ideas on what I need to modify from this method to get more deceased civilizations?

Well, from what I see here you could have ran the world for less than the critters' maxage, or there could be an amount of vampires that still keeps the civs going (in that case, you should be able to crank their amount to a minimum and just kill off the rest in adventure mode). Check the legends, you should learn a bit from them.

I've tried running worlds to the standard 1050 and dialing down the vampires types down to 1, but no matter how long the duration, I consistently get ~100 living historical figures.

I also got a rather amusing Age of Fairy Tales world that featured the last human civilization locked in eternal battle with the last goblin civilization while some kobolds hid in a cave off to the side and a sheep demon writes entire libraries worth of books.

Here you go. Due to the way I was trying to get an AoD, the raws are almost completely empty of creatures, so aside from wolves, purring maggots and cave lobsters there really isn't any wildlife to enjoy. Not even cats. It's mostly an amusing Legends novelty world. Embark works fine, though.
