New city map feature?

So is the new city map feature in this version?  If so how do we access it?

And another question: how do I find vendors in Adventurer mode?

You'll automatically go into a new zoom level when you're travelling near a town.

As for vendors, I think I saw a list on the right hand side when I was in a city-map square with shops.  I spent all of 2 minutes in adventure mode.

The right-hand windows are showing elevations above and below the current level, but not different maps.

Right-hand side in the [T]ravel screen, not right-hand side when just walking around.
