Is it possible for me to make suggestions on how to improve this forum? I had two quick improvement suggestions and I was wondering if there was a place where I could suggest them. If there is a proper place to make suggestions, please tell me and I will move it there.
On the civfanatics.com's web forum, they have a receive email updates option (much like this site's). It however has two differences from this site's that I think should be considered.
1. On every email update it sends, it provides a link to go to the forum thread. I know that bay12forums has that option also however this site's email updates only include the link on the first email. This causes a problem for people (like myself) who's email provider automatically deletes/archives old emails after a few days. Even for people whose email address doesn't do that, they will still have to find the first email and if you get a bunch of emails, this can be a pain. Could you please consider including an option (or changing the default behavior) so that we can receive the link in every email instead of just the first one?
2. By default, the civfanatics site will automatically stop sending email updates after a while if the user does not go to that thread after several updates. The counter is reset if either A: the user follows the link or B: the user views the thread in some other way. Although I do not think that this problem is very important, it might be a nice touch to consider implementing at some later time.
