Do you mean I can fill bags with water?

Also I've noticed that once you use up all your ammo from a quiver, there is no way to put new ammo into the quiver. When I try to (p)ut new portion of ammo it only shows my backpack as available choice for container.
i dont think so.

to fill a quiver, wear it, drop the ammo, and pick it back up.

my question:

anyone else waking up drowsy after a full night's sleep?

It seems in order to wake up not drowsy you must sleep at least 8 hours.
boldened the important part of my last post.  i'm talking well over 8 hours.  prolly into 10-12 hour range.  enough so that it requires two eats and two drinks to not be hungry and thirsty.

No, I'm sure it can. I've done it nearly every adventure. They can store up to a 100 units of water.

As for the sleep, what probably happened was that you tried to go to sleep before your adventure was actually tired, and that makes [Z] by default "wait without sleeping", so you have to hit to switch it to "sleep as necessary". It happened to me all the time, and took me weeks to figure out what was going on.

Since new release none of my victims have been propelled by the force of my blows. I tryed all the weapons with no desied results (even maces and hammers). Can anyone confirm that "propelled creature" feature is still present?

Not sure for the effect of your adventurer toards enemies ... but it is definitely there the other way round:
One of my last adventurers had a fight with a were elephant (in were form) and was propelled by said elephant several tiles backwards (letting him explode on impact)

Didnīt notice any propelled enemies/friendlies in normal fights with weapons, however

Here's the bug report.  That one goes all the way back to the April 2010 release, and it seems like it was worse before 0.34.01 (i.e. knockbacks happened even less rarely in 0.31.01 - 0.31.25).  It still isn't as common as it was in 40d, but it probably shouldn't be --  that was a little cartoonish.

na its not too cartoonish, if you get kicked by a bronze colossus as a human and you are standing its highly likely your not just gunna stay there on that spot unmoved. and it does still work it just requires alot more size then the target you are attacking, you can even still throw stuff around, like my superhuman strength human can throw kobolds around like they are little puppies :3

however i do feel being able to knock yourself over by throwing said kobolds is quite silly indeed.

300 human/elf/dwarf/goblin/kobold bodies 20 random animal/fish/bird bodies and 3 dragon bodies all in one backpack. fun stuff.

I meant the 40d balance was cartoonish -- in that version, a normal human could propel other normal humans just by punching them etc.

however i do feel being able to knock yourself over by throwing said kobolds is quite silly indeed.

Also on the tracker.

ah if you meant the 40d one then yes, i do agree with that build being a bit cartoonish.

I haven't found any dwarven fortress or elven settlement since the new build. Only human ones.

To be fair, superhuman strength should account for more than just breaking bones.

They haven't actually existed on the maps for many version and won't be back for many more.

Will turning off invasions in init stop necromancers from screwing with you? Also, are they invisible? I had corpses in my main base be raised with out a necromancer in sight and I was in a normal area.

Dungeons are dungeons beneath a city's keep. Catacombs are dungeons beneath a city's temple. They both look pretty much the same, and are only occupied if bandits/monsters moved in during world gen.  Sewers are sprawling networks of tunnels that often, but not always, connect with dungeons and catacombs.  Tombs are above-ground residences for cranky mummies; they always lie outside of the city limits in small clusters...
...I think.

I'm still somewhat confused as to how to find the catacombs I'm being tasked to explore.  I was told to find a certain outlaw and kill him/her/it.  "Search first in Wrackedhollows, the catacombs here," the quest-mentioner told me.  The catacombs beneath the temple in this city are called The Shadows of Spurning, not Wrackedhollows (unless the game is just not giving me the full name in the lower left corner whilst I'm in the place under the temple).  There are bandits and whatever down there, but I've not found the dude I'm looking for yet.  Any advice?  In the meantime I'll keep stomping about.  Someone's iron armour closet exploded down here, sheesh!  :D

If you have okay wrestling, you can stab someone in the lower body, making their guts pop out. If you then wrestle and pinch the guts, you can sever them. By then, the guy's probably unconscious. If he's not, strangle him until he is and cave in his skull with the guts.

No, really.
