Ran into that one too. I think it happens when you're already holding some other weapon; it won't stop you from holding 2 swords per hand, but it will make you pull it out of your backpack to do so.

Does holding 2+ weapons per hand decrease effectiveness?
Yup, you're right. It happens when you already hold a weapon (crossbow in my case)

How do you locate someone in the dungeons/sewers?
I have moved into the right tile, I believe, as it says "TSK ***", but I can't find my target, which is extremely frustrating as the dungeons are extremely complex and you can walk around for ages.

I always take a left turn when possible, this way you won't miss your quest's target.

Question: how do i twist stuck weapons in 34.02?

Only if the weapon is large enough that your adventurer needs to multigrasp it.

Yeah, just keep turning in the same direction every time. Following the perimeter will eventually shown you the entire floor, then you can just go down to the floor below that.

Can anyone using Phoebus' tileset tell me what Necro towers look like on the map? I can't seem to find any in 3 separate worlds...

They use a purple capital "i", they shouldn't have any sort of special look with any of the tilesets.

Yeah. found a few. Turns out there weren't any towers on the entire northern continent. Just re-embarked as an adventurer closer to one of the towers.

I got a quest to go and kill a "cave swallow man" boss living in/near/underneath the capital city of the region.  I managed to find the sewer entrance and proceeded to spend an incredibly uneventful couple of hours wandering aimlessly through the sewers, finding only the occasional beastman skeleton.  Eventually I stumbled upon an area with a lot of statues and some named corpses but still never found the boss or any enemies.  Finally I opened a door and found myself inside the castle, gave up and went to the northern edge of the continent in the hopes that they wouldn't ask me to find another needle in a haystack.  Of course I was given a quest to go to a non-existent goblin fortress and slay their non-existent king.  I went to the site in hopes that the goblin would be chilling there but no, there was no sign of any kind of life.

Is there any kind of utility that actually makes the quest marker follow the quest target, instead of pointing me to useless, empty plains?  My adventurer is going to have to swim to another continent just to get a quest he can actually complete.

Which shops sell ammo? Apparently there are plenty of ammo lying around in castles. Which shops sell waterskins?

I don't know, but bags work much better than waterskins anyway.

Thanks for answering the Q about twisting weapons.

I have found a couple of lairs that were *tiny*, and the guy I was there to slay wasn't in.

Do you mean I can fill bags with water?

Also I've noticed that once you use up all your ammo from a quiver, there is no way to put new ammo into the quiver. When I try to (p)ut new portion of ammo it only shows my backpack as available choice for container.

i dont think so.

to fill a quiver, wear it, drop the ammo, and pick it back up.

my question:

anyone else waking up drowsy after a full night's sleep?

It seems in order to wake up not drowsy you must sleep at least 8 hours.
